This functional sculptural piece was made as a collaboration between Studio Ayra and Nitya A Aggarwal. Nitya is a budding potter who feels drawn to forms that could exist as both functional pieces and sculptural expressions, inspired by the organic beauty of quiet nature, rocks, trees, birds, the human body, animals, she loves creating ceramic forms that feel organically evolved rather than defined.

The Maker shares :

"As the form evolved it began to reveal the quiet elegance of a feminine silhouette. I was captivated by the way a few simple curves could express softness, strength and presence all at once. Rather than sculpting a figure, I chose to capture a feeling- an ode to femininity in its most fluid and timeless form."
