This functional sculptural piece was made as a collaboration between Studio Ayra and Nitya A Aggarwal. Nitya is a budding potter who feels drawn to forms that could exist as both functional pieces and sculptural expressions, inspired by the organic beauty of quiet nature, rocks, trees, birds, the human body, animals, she loves creating ceramic forms that feel organically evolved rather than defined.

The Maker shares :

"As this form took shape, it unexpectedly revealed the silhouette of a well-worn walking shoe. What fascinated me wasn't the object itself but the stories it carried, the forests it had wandered through, the riverbeds it had crossed, and the winding trails it had followed. Inspired by those quiet journeys, I shaped the piece with soft flowing curves that celebrate exploration, our connection with the natural world and the belief that every path we walk leaves us changed in some small way."
