Shmud (pronounced as Sh-mud) was born from a simple but stubborn idea: to make objects that are simple, poetic and imaginative. Things you've seen a hundred times, reimagined in ways that make you stop and look again. I carry a restless curiosity and an obsession with seeing the familiar from unfamiliar angles, and clay turned out to be the perfect place to put that.
