Born in Dehradun, I moved to the beautiful Nilgiris this year. This collection is created in reverence of this magical land. The Nilgiris are known for it's diversity in both flora and fauna. The fungi are one of the most important organisms to this land. 

Lichens are bizarre organisms and no two are alike. Lichens are a complex life form that is a symbiotic partnership of two separate organisms, a fungus and an alga. The dominant partner is the fungus, which gives the lichen the majority of its characteristics, from its thallus shape to its fruiting bodies.

These bowls are functional collectibles for someone looking for something unique and one of a kind piece.
